When you are looking for a perfectly healthy sweet snack this is a great option. Rich with flavours and textures they taste best when cool. Can be stored in the fridge or freezer.

Walnut Orange Chai Bliss Bites

Ingredients:

Walnut Orange Chai Bliss Bites1 cup ground walnuts

32 Medjool dates (pits removed)

Zest and juice of 1/2 orange

1 cup shredded coconut plus another 1/2 cup for rolling

1 cup rolled oats

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp ginger

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp cloves

Directions:

Place the walnuts in a blender or food processor and process until ground. Remove and place in a large bowl. Next add the pitted dates, orange zest and orange juice to the blender or food processor and blend until dates are creamy. Place dates in the bowl with the ground walnuts. Add 1 cup of the shredded coconut and all of the remaining ingredients mix well. Roll into small balls and then roll in coconut to finish.

Makes 20 bliss bites
