Cultured Cashew Cheese Workshop

In this workshop Deb Gleason will teach you to make delicious dairy-free cashew-based cheese at home. You will learn all of the steps involved from making the healthy fermented quinoa-based culture to blending and forming the cheese. The workshop is a step-by-step demonstration on vegan cheesemaking followed by a cheese tasting. 100% vegan and gluten-free. Learn to make:

Cultured Cracked Pepper Brie – A melt in your mouth, creamy cashew cheese sensation that adds a gourmet touch to anything you serve it with. Serve on crackers paired with olives, nuts, pickled vegetables and fresh fruit, or slice it into salads, on grilled cheese or melted on a pizza.

Roasted Garlic & Fresh Herb Cultured Cream Cheese – A wonderful savoury cream cheese, flavoured with roasted garlic, fresh parsley, chives and thyme.  Once you have this in your kitchen you will want to spread it on everything!

Workplace Wellness Workshops now available in Ottawa

Plant Powered Wellness Workshops (1 hour)

Explore plant-based living in these lively and engaging one hour workshops. Every workshop will include a cooking demo by Deb followed by a Q&A session and an opportunity to taste what she has prepared. Recipes will be made available to all participants.

Plant Powered Culinary Team-Building Workshop (3 hours)

Your group will take a hands-on approach to learning how to create a delicious 4-course lunch with whole food, plant-based ingredients. The group will then be divided into recipe teams. Each team will then head into a fully stocked kitchen with their speci c recipes. Deb will provide as needed guidance to each team as they prepare their respective dishes. Once all the dishes are complete, the group will sit down and enjoy a beautiful lunch together.
